Core tasks:

As Flight Check Lead you may be liable for conducting flight checks of latest plane methods at Radical. This function will work carefully with engineering groups to develop and execute the check packages that take Radical to the stratosphere. You can be primarily based at our workplace in Seattle, WA, collaborating carefully with our small, agile, and interdisciplinary workforce. You’ll:

• Develop complete flight check plans for prototype autonomous stratospheric plane methods
• Lead the preparation for and execution of flight checks, together with pre-flight checks, in-flight monitoring, and post-flight analyses
• Work with testing companions to coordinate flight testing actions
• Handle technical dangers and make sure the security of all flight testing operations
• Information check groups and prototype methods to readiness for flight check
• Assist the creation of operational necessities and procedures for brand new plane methods
• Work with engineering groups to finish evaluation and experiences from flight check actions

Required abilities:

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, or comparable
• Demonstrated expertise executing flight check packages for brand new aerospace methods
• Expertise working or testing uncrewed plane platforms
• Expertise coordinating testing packages with a number of stakeholders and exterior companions
