Microsoft will introduce a brand new model of Microsoft 365 and Workplace 365 subscription service that excludes Groups, unbundling a set following scrutiny from the European Union regulator and complaints from rival Slack.
The transfer follows Microsoft agreeing to promote Workplace 365 suite sans Microsoft Groups providing within the EU and Switzerland final 12 months. The corporate launched Groups as a complimentary providing to the Workplace 365 suite in 2017.
